A football coach who is facing being fired and having trouble conceiving a child with his wife feels overwhelmed and turns to Christ to help him through the tough times in his life. The message of the movie is that while you can't control what happens in life, you must give it your all anyway. He decided that whether or not his team wins, whether or not he keeps his job, whether or not he can have children, he will do his best in every endeavor in his life and glorify God regardless of the outcomes.
His wife is played by a sweet and lovely actress who faces her own hardship as a woman who wants children and is having trouble conceiving. Many of the teammates have personal issues they must also overcome.
This is a great family film, very uplifting, and I'm glad I came across it.

Chapters one and two explain why it is wrong to lust after anything or anyone. Stoeker shares his conversion to Christianity. He traded pornography magazines with stealing glances at lingerie ads. He had given up the life of multiple partners for one with whom he knew no true honesty or intimacy. By the world's standard, he was doing quite well, but by God's standard, he stopped short. His relationship with God, your spouse, and children suffered.

Chapter three is titled "Addiction? Or Something Else?" Other men struggle with watching beach volleyball, and one says he has had, "shockingly vivid dreams about some of these women." It is adulterous, according to God. Page 26 has an addiction test from New Life. You do not need a pen or paper- you just read the list and be honest.

Chapter four, called Mixing Standards, deals with right and wrong- Does anything give you release to masturbate or flirt with another? This book says no. "If you're single and watching sensual R-rated movies, wedded bliss won't change this habit. You're masturbating now? Putting that ring on your finger won't keep your hands off yourself." -dlorene
